Thanks to friend for support during spouse's illness

Dear Abby

I wanted to let you know that Brad is home from the hospital now and doing well. I know he must be close to normal again because he has begun criticizing my treatment of his beloved roses.

Thank you for all you did for us while Brad was hospitalized, I really appreciated your help in getting me to and from the hospital, as well as the delicious meals that miraculously appeared in my refrigerator and the emotional support you provided.

You are a true friend.

When we are out again, please let us take you to lunch. We will have much to talk about
