Dear Peter
I am writing to inform you that with much thought I am regretfully resigning as a member of the Hometown Citizens Association.
After much consideration, I have come to the conclusion that the views of the organization and of myself have become distinctly different over the past year. I no longer feel that I can be a useful contributor to the goals and mission of the organization. |
While I know that everyone involved with the Hometown Citizens Association is deeply committed to improving the future of our community, I am also aware that the various ideas for improvement in our community seem to be going to extremes overall. I want to thank everyone for the time and contributions which have helped improve our lives over the past years.
