Dear Office Personnel
I have applied, and have been accepted, to Hometown College as a freshman for the upcoming fall semester. I am very excited and cannot wait to arrive in Hometown.
I have a problem with my living assignment though. I applied for a room in West Hall, which is the smoke-free dorm. When I received my room assignment I found that I had been assigned to Highland Hall instead, which I believe allows smoking. |
The reason I have a problem with this assignment is my being allergic to smoke. I am on medication for allergies and cannot tolerate being near smoke or residue. I have attached a medical note from a doctor as proof.
Please let me know if you can find a room assignment to West Hall or another smoke-free dorm.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely
