    At the end of the session the learner should be able to:
    1. Articulate the letter sound of 'p' orally provided with different pictures/flashcards
    2. Write the letter 'p' by connecting the points correctly provided with different examples of pictures
    3. Identify the letter 'p' by associating the sounds from the different pictures given

  3. PROCEDURE
    1. Recap
      The teacher will have some recap/review on the previous lessons that have already been tackled. The teacher will show some different pictures and the pupils will repeat and then identify the letter sound to which it represents.

    2. 'Bring and Show Me'
      The teacher will introduce the new lesson through a game: 'Bring Me.' The teacher will ask the pupils to whoever can bring what is being asked will have a prize.

    3. Sounding Letter as 'pah - pah'
      The teacher will show and write the letter (not introducing the letter but the sound only) on the board. The teacher will tell the sound and the pupils will follow and repeat after her as they look the letter. This is done repeatedly.
    4. Mastery of the sound
      1. The teacher will show them how to write using the fingers in the air. The pupils will then follow as they give the letter sound
      2. The teacher will show them how to write on their palm. The pupils will then follow as they give the letter sound
      3. The teacher will ask the pupils to write the target letter on the board connecting the dots; tracing the letter 'p' after, as they give the sound
    5. Combining Sounds

        The teacher will introduce the song consisting the letter sound of 'p' :
