Dear Mr. Atlas

I joined American Fitness approximately seven weeks ago after seeing an introductory ad on television for your clubs. In the ad spot it was stated that I would have of aerobics classes and Martial Arts Fitness Training as well as use of all the equipment and the pool. This I thought was worth the $500 price for membership.

Since joining I have not seen mention of either aerobics or Martial Arts training. I asked about this and no one had a reasonable answer. I tried to make use of the equipment, but each time the equipment I wanted to use was either busy or down for maintenance. The same occurred with the pool which was down for a week with unexplained problems. This has become unacceptable to me.

Because of these reasons I would like to cancel my membership under your 'money back guarantee' posted on the ad and in the contract. This guarantee allows me to cancel my membership within 60 days for a full refund.

Please send my refund of the full year membership of $500 to the address listed above.
