Dear Circulation Department
I am writing this letter in regards to a notification I gave to hold my subscription for a one week period back on the 23rd of January. The newspaper was to be held for the week of February 15 through February 21 because I would not be at home during that time. When I returned home on the evening of the 22nd I found eight newspapers piled in front of my door. I am unable to understand how these would have been delivered since I gave instructions to have otherwise in writing two weeks beforehand. |
While this bothers me that a customer's service instructions were not followed as requested; it troubles me further that having these newspapers in front of my door could have informed anyone passing my home that the house was not occupied during that week. Fortunately no damage was done.
Please credit my next invoice with the proper amount for the week that I requested non-delivery.
