Example of Guerilla Marketing

Guerrilla Marketing is a somewhat inflated term for unconventional marketing or promotion. It may include street events, performances, giveaways, etc. It really refers to small scale forms of marketing, hence the 'guerrilla' reference. It's really 'contact marketing', direct interface with marketing products and concepts. It's a viable, much cheaper approach for smaller scale marketers who can't operate on the same sort of budgets as major marketing operations.

Examples of Guerilla Marketing:

In Japan, 'tissue paper marketing' involves putting ads on tissue paper, literally delivering the ad into the hands of the consumer. Functionality means people directly connect with the advertising.
'Buzz marketing' is a guerrilla technique using word of mouth.
