Wavelength measures the movement of light, sound, and water. To calculate the wavelength of these things, the distance between each crest, or the distance between repetitive sections on a propagating wave are measured. Wavelength is recorded in cm, nm, and meters. |
Examples of Wavelength:
| Light has a visible wavelength that ranges from 380-750 nm. A microwave has a wavelength not visible to the human eye and is around 15,000,000 nm-1,000 000 nm. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wavelength https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wavelength |

Wavelength of a sine wave can be measured between any two points with the same phase, such as between crests, or troughs, or corresponding zero crossings as shown. |
