Term used for algebraic equation where the one or more variable functions is squared.
Examples of Quadratic Equation:
Plots of realvalued quadratic function ax2 + bx + c, varying each coefficient separately.
For the quadratic function: f (x) = x2 x 2 = (x + 1)(x 2) of a real variable x, the xcoordinates of the points where the graph intersects the xaxis, x = 1 and x = 2, are the roots of the quadratic equation: x2 x 2 = 0.
