Experience:

2008 - Present, Ultrasound Specialist, Hometown Medical Center, Hometown OH.
Responsibilities include a proficiency in echo,stress echo and vascular studies. I also have the required OB/GYN experience. I have normally scheduled 10-12 patients per day. My duties include but are not limited to obtaining and recording an accurate patient history, performing diagnostic procedures and obtaining diagnostic images, analyzing technical information, using independent judgment in recognizing the need to extend the scope of the procedure according to the diagnostic findings, providing an oral or written summary of the technical findings to the physician for medical diagnosis providing quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other members of the health care team. Other responsibilities included: performing general ultrasound (SEQUOIA), centering on abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, pelvic (male), and vascular, performing full scope of vascular procedures to test the veins and arteries and progression of diseases, preparing patients for examination, applying venous duplex examination of lower and upper extremities as well as carotid duplex examination along with PVR/ segmental pressures of the lower and upper extremities.

Responsibilities included assisting in preparation of exam reports for doctor review, within an experienced surgery setting and viewed CEA, breast biopsy, and thoracentesis procedures. I have also performed general ultrasound scans including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Small Parts, Vascular, Biopsy/Special Procedure Assistance

Responsibilities included interpreting laboratory results, patient history and medical records, and adapting sonographic examination as necessary, using cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images, analyzing sonograms, synthesizing sonographic information and medical history, and communicating findings to the appropriate healthcare professional and assisting the radiologist in performing special procedures such as abscess drainages, soft tissue and thyroid biopsies, thoracentesis, & paracentesis.
