Social skills and competences  I am very patient and caring, I try to not only sympathize but empathize with my patients in order to better understand what they are feeling in order to provide better care. I work well with children and can explain complex traumatic or confusing situations clearly and calmly in a manner they can understand. I have experience working with children and young adults dealing with grief and the loss of family members or loved ones. I am very dependable and remain in contact with many of the individuals or families I work with long after I have helped them and they no longer need social services.
