Social skills and competences  Being a part of a legal team has strengthened my social skills greatly. I have met and worked with a host of different people. As a member of a lacrosse team, I learned how important teamwork is and have incorporated these skills into my daily tasks.
    
Organisational skills  As a legal assistant, being organized was a very vital part of my job description. I developed a system that helped me to organize client information, case information, and keep track of information essential to the attorneys.
    
Technical skills and competences   I have worked with a variety of office supplies ranging from printers, fax machine, copy machine, scanners, etc. As a legal assistant I maintained operation of these machines and performing minor tweaking and troubleshooting whenever needed.
    
Computer skills and competences  I have over 10 years experience with the Windows XP Operating System, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Publisher. I am also familiar with the Internet Explorer, Mozilla, and Safari browsers. As a hobby I experiment with different word processing programs and software.
    
Artistic skills and competences  In my free time I enjoy interior decorating and have taken a few courses to help me better perfect this art. For the past seven years, during spring and summer, I performed minor landscaping to resident and commercial properties.

I also make it a priority to help with Habitat For Humanity each year, and I am currently in the process of becoming a girl's lacrosse coach.
