Main activities and responsibilities | | | As the Living Science teacher, my duties include creating an engaging curriculum that teaches young minds about the forces of nature and the science of the world around us. My general work responsibilities include preparing daily lecture materials, assigning and grading student daily work and home work. Develop methods of teaching that promotes an understanding of principals covered. Conference with teachers about student successes, failures or misbehaviour and suggest ideas to promote learning both in the classroom and at home. I work closely with all my students, especially those with learning disabilities or those who are simply struggling with the concepts being taught. I specialize in developing creative activities and assignments that children are eager to try and encourage exploration and curiosity that bolsters a child''s desire to learn rather than forcing basic memorization and repetition of facts on students. |
