A wanted poster is a poster that displays a portrait of a criminal posted locally, statewide, or nationally to inform and alert others with hopes someone will see the criminal and report him or her to the authorities. Often times there is a substantial reward to the individual who can provide the authorities with any information regarding the whereabouts of the fugitive.
