Letter of invitation of members to a meeting
Dear Historical Society Member
Although it is still not yet Spring here in Hometown, the time to begin planning the activities of the Hometown Historical Society is at hand for the year is once again at hand.

I am writing to you to invite you to our first meeting of the year. We are planning to get together on Monday March 16, 2009 at seven o'clock that evening. We are meeting in the Auditorium of the Hometown High School.
At the meeting we are planning to finalize this year's agenda and goals. There are also fundraising and committee appointments which need to be filled as well. The selection of a speaker for our annual Autumn Dinner will also be discussed.

I have been pleased to speak with many of you over the Winter months, and I know there are many great ideas as well as some issues which should be addressed this upcoming year. I am hoping to see you there.
