Letter of gratitude for a contribution given in honor

Dear Tracy and Scott

I wanted to write to inform you that I have just received a notification from the Arthritis Foundation telling me of the contribution you both made in my honor. I don't think I could have asked for a better birthday present from friends.

I can tell you that your gift, with my name attached, will be helping the Foundation find treatments for all those like me who suffer from the many forms of this condition.
