Letter of complaint about class schedules

Dear Mr. John

We just received our daughter Ann's schedule for her senior year. I am finding that it does not include two essentially important classes which she selected in preparation for college. I am writing to ask that her schedule be reworked to include both Advanced Placement Calculus as well as Advanced Spanish.

As you are aware, Ann is a dedicated and accomplished student, and we are very proud of the fact that she does not intend to take the lazy way out in her senior year. She intends to major in math at Community University, and the calculus course is essential. And the college which she is hoping to get into requires three years of a foreign language.

We look forward to hearing from you concerning this issue before the beginning of the school year.
