Letter for enrolling a child in an elementary school

Dear Principal

Our family will be moving into our new home during the summer months. With our moving into your community I will need to enroll my son, Matt, into third grade at your school. I have already requested that the Homer Elementary School of Small City NY send out my son's school records directly to you.

Matthew's birth date is June 6, 2001. If there is any other information you will need please call me at 000-000-0000. I would also like to ask if it is possible to bring him over to the school sometime this summer after our arrival to acquaint him with his new school and possibly meet some of his teachers. Please let me know if this is an option.
