Dear Recruitment Officer
I am a high school senior at Community East High School with plans to graduate this June. Recently I learned about a program called the College Student Precommisioning Initiative (CSPI), which is a scholarship program that not only pays for my college education but also allows entrance into the US Coast Guard as a commissioned officer after graduation.

I currently carry a 3.4 GPA and have always had an interest in the areas of Marine Sciences and Pollution Control. The US Coast Guard has programs in these areas, which is why I have had a long time interest in joining the Coast Guard.

Could you please send me information about the CPSI program as well as any other scholarships or ROTC opportunities that might be useful for me to meet my goals.
