Acceptance letter from parents of childs college roommate

Dear Barb and James

We would love to meet Tom's parents! We hereby accept your invitation to dinner over Parents Weekend at the University. We only live about an hour from the school so we know the town well. Would the two of you object to us picking out a good place to eat? I will make sure that we try to keep the boys from going into shock when they miss their pizza and Chinese food for one night.

I'll check with Frank and ask the boys to coordinate the date and time. Marva and I are looking forward to Parents Weekend and will talk to you then.
