Example of Phrase

A phrase is a distinct grouping of words. It's usually defined as a specific expression, in context with subject matter. In common usage, phrases are often core concepts, used to describe ideas. In many cases phrases are used as partial quotes from well known literary or vernacular expressions, where the meaning of the phrase is a quick and easily understood reference. Phrases are often cited as part of associative logic, as precursors of the related statement.
