An itinerary is a form of schedule. The usage of the word is based on its context, and may refer to a tour, a schedule of business functions, or as a metaphoric reference to a personal agenda or method of doing things. In most cases the context is the definition of the exact meaning, but if used as a standalone expression, it may be a form of sarcasm.
