An illustration paragraph is essentially a definition which illustrates the subject. This is a condensed form of information, but in prose style, providing roughly the dictionary meaning in a narrative way.

Life is a characteristic which is given to the existence of both organisms in the literal sense of being alive. The concept of life further develops as the 'life' of a product, an idea or concept, a state of existence expressed as an analogous continuum similar to that of life.
