Internship application cover letter example
An internship is an important part of many people's professional lives. The cover letter is an integral part of any job application, and it's also part of the internship application.

Your letter has to strike key elements of the internship's requirements to be effective. The idea is to prove you're up to the job, which means paying close attention to the role of the intern and skills involved. Depending on the nature of the internship, you'll have to emphasize key elements in your cover letter.

As well as skills, qualification, and study achievements, you also have to prove motivation. A bland, average cover letter will probably get an average result: Someone else gets the internship.
You simply need to show a range of good values in your application. Internships can be highly competitive, and quality counts. Good expression and good information are essential.
The cover letter doesn't have to be lengthy. A page is the usual size. Only do more if it's absolutely unavoidable, and not much more.
Presentation matters, so check quality.
Spelling, grammar, and all names and references must be correct.
