Letter seeking summer internship

I am in my first year of law school at Temple University School of Law and I am seeking a summer internship. Professor John Smith, my academic advisor, recommended I apply to your firm.

I have maintained a consistent 3.6 GPA through my first year and am very interested in Disability Law which you specialize in. This will fit well with my undergraduate degree in Business Management and Workplace Diversity. I plan to gain experience throughout my legal studies so that I may enter the legal profession well prepared.
