Thanks for attending the organizational meeting for the Hometown Community Theater. We are very excited about the prospects of our group. Which brings me to this; you are invited to attend the auditions of our first show: Our Town, by Thornton Wilder.

We are looking for a cast from about fifteen principals to play members of the Gibbs and Webb families, plus minor characters, and we will also need about a dozen stagehands, lighting and sound technicians, makeup artists and dressers. We'd suggest you familiarize yourself with Thornton Wilder's wonderful play; you can also rent the 1940 movie version, which is close but not identical to the original.

The audition will be held in the auditorium of Hometown Community High School on Thursday February 4. We expect to present our first performance in early April.
