Human resources is a term developed from 'human capital' with a close similarity in idiom. The expression can refer to human capital or to the Human Resources functions of an employer. Human Resources (HR) as an operational function is the part of a corporate organization or employer dealing with employment of staff, payment of wages, superannuation, salaries, and other administrative roles. This role may also include training and counseling, and in some cases conduct of formal processes like grievance disputes.
